Dosage Considerations – Should be Given as Follows:

Oral Anesthetic

• Used for temporary relief for pharyngitis or throat irritation due to cough
• Adults and children 5 years and older: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth; may repeat every 2 hours as needed
• Children under 5 years: Safety and efficacy not established
